Among the 29 singers competing this year for the Golden Lion of Sanremo is Dario Brunori, who has received the full support of the Arbëresh towns in this competition.

The Center for Studies and Publications for the Arbëreshi people announced that the Arbëresh towns will support the singer-songwriter from Cosenza at the Sanremo Festival. This support comes after the beautiful gift that singer-songwriter Brunori gave to the Arbëreshi people of Italy last summer, at Notte della Taranta live on RAI Uno, performing one of the songs that identify the Arbëresh, “Lule lule” (Flower-Flower).

Arbëresh associations say that the motivation comes from the desire and interest to take to the stage of this festival, a piece of the Arbëresh history and tradition of Calabria.

Meanwhile, the Accademia della Crusca has highly appreciated the lyrics of Dario Brunori’s song, presented in Sanremo with “L’Albero delle noci” (The Walnut Tree). For this academy known as “La Crusca” Brunori’s lyrics are the best. /j.p/p.s./
