TIRANA, Feb 3 /ATA/ – The government of Albania, in collaboration with the World Bank, will soon launch a new project on rehabilitation of bridges across Albania in order to have safer bridges that would also improve connection and contribute to rebalancing economic growth across the country.

The World Bank country office in Tirana said Friday that the new building resilient bridges project will improve the infrastructure of 30 bridges across Albania that serve as connection points for the area’s population with the rest of the country.

A better and safer road network in Albania allows for faster movement of people and goods, which benefits the economy.

“The project will directly benefit 800,000 people,” WB said in a press release.

Under this important project, Albania will have safer bridges, which will improve connection and contribute to rebalancing economic growth.
