TIRANA, December 22 /ATA/ Minister of Environment Sofjan Jaupaj visited today Tirana’s Glass Hub where recycling gets transformed into art and innovation.

“While applying the Zero Waste philosophy, the old bottles and jars are transformed into artisanal creations. Under the direction of artist Joana Dhiamandi, the recycled glass is transformed by hand into decorative objects and functional products that promote the circular economy and care for the environment,” said Jaupaj.

Minister Jaupaj praised the collection inspired by the Vjosa river as impressive, which according to him, “is a real jewel that shows that protecting nature also inspires industry”.

“Tirana’s Glass Hub is a model of the circular economy in which glass materials do not end up in landfills or waste collection points and are recycled through these products”, underlined Jaupaj.

Minister Jaupaj stated that, “The future is all about recycling. I am convinced that the business will grow and will also become a brand through reusing materials in such a creative way”.

Every product produced by Tirana’s Glass Hub has no waste, no crumbs go to waste as a result of the technique used for their production.

The collections come from Albanian nature such as Alta Blu which has the element of Ionian Sea water, the Vjosa collection has the Vjosa river, and the other collections have some forms that may be more universal. Alta Blu, Vjosa and “Zana” sweets, which according to Dhimandi are the most favorite and most sought after.

In addition to creating beautiful products, Tirana Glass Hub promotes awareness for environmental protection and Albania in the international arena. /k.s/p.s./

TIRANA, February 12 /ATA/ The brand offers a dual protection for both business and consumers, so its registration is one of the key factors to build a successful company.

If your brand is certified, customers’ confidence in your products and services will be more solid and they will be more inclined to buy these products.

For years, Albanian businesses have understood the importance of national brand certification within the world-recognized legal standards. Brand certification makes it easier to sell products and makes the product “Made in Albania” not only have value in the market, but also increases the prestige of Albania.

Minister of Finance and Economy Anila Denaj addressed a message to businesses as a step to ensure their authenticity in the market.

“Register your brand, protect the business, ensure authenticity in the market”, said Denaj.

Denaj also brought the example of one of the largest companies in the country that has been working under the brand of “Made in Albania” for years.

Eleni Babameto is the administrator of one of the largest companies in the Albanian market, “Teuta Durrës”. 26 years on the market, is evidence of the success of work and commitment to customers, to produce high quality and modern technology under the brand “Made in Albania”, said Denaj.

According to her, 17 registered trademarks have made this company unique and protected from unfair competition.

Trademark registration, patenting and protection are a necessity for Albanian entrepreneurship in all areas they operate.

The year 2020 marked an increase in the number of applications for trademark registration by Albanian entities. During 2020, there were issued 1115 certificates for national brands./p.s./
