Prime Minister Edi Rama shared images of “Borova in Kolonja on Tuesday, with the magical colours of autumn” on social media, highlighting the area’s growing popularity as a rural tourism destination.

Surrounded by unspoiled nature and traditional guesthouses serving local cuisine, Borova has become an attractive destination for travellers exploring the region, boosted by recent infrastructure investments.

The mountains around Kolonja – including Mount Gramos, rising more than 2,500 metres above sea level, as well as Shelegur, Postenan and Radom – also offer hiking and adventure opportunities for nature enthusiasts.
