During the 8th joint Kosovo- Albania govt. meeting that is being held in Pristina, the Minister of Interior, Bledi Çuçi and that of Kosovo, Xhelal Sveçla outlined details of the agreements that will be signed between the two countries.

“With the first protocol that we will sign together with my colleague, we achieve what Prime Minister Rama said, facilitation during the summer period and the weekend when there is an increased flow of movement from both sides. Under the first protocol that will be signed, from June 1 to September 30, at weekends and on holidays, the citizens of Kosovo and Albania will cross our borders without the need for registration by the authorities in order not to create any delay or queue for cross-border movement, ” Çuçi said.

He stressed that the agreement will regulate and streamline waiting procedures and coordinate the work of border police.
