The book fair in Germany, where Albania was represented with its stand, thanks to the cooperation with the Traduki network and the support of the Ministry of Culture of Albania and the arrangement by the National Book and Reading Center, reported thousands of visitors.

A series of activities on contemporary literature were organized by the National Center for Books and Reading. Authors included Lindita Arapi, Arian Leka, Ag Apolloni, Loer Kume, Andreas Dushi, Flogerta Krypi, Ervin Nezha, Stefan Çapaliku, Ana Kove, etc..
The future through the book unfolded in the reflections of young Albanian authors in front of a wide audience. Literature as a form of communication between different cultures was also another topic of discussion.
Albania’s ambassador to Germany, Artur Kuko, was also present at the activities.

“Fani goes in search of light”, the beloved book of young Albanian readers written by Rovena Rrozhani proved a huge success at this fair.
Mrs. Klafe, a volunteer teacher in a German primary school, after visiting the Albania stand, chose the children’s book “Fani in search of light”. In a video posted on the official website of the National Center for Books and Reading, she said that she cared for an Albanian student at school who does not like books in German, and therefore she would show him the book in Albanian, expressing her thanks for the opportunity given to him.

“Fani goes in search of light”, published by “Mediaprint” is a winner of the Children’s Literature Fund from the KKLL, a finalist of the National Literature Awards for 2020 and one of the children’s books beloved by the author Rovena Rrozhani.

The story of the firefly that does not light up with its magical glow and goes through several adventures to build confidence, will soon be in an animated film by the well-known Albanian animation director, Artur Dauti, who is also the illustrator of the book.
