In her address to the joint session of the Kosovo-Albania Assemblies in Pristina, Osmani said, “We are living in a turbulent time that requires cooperation.”

“For Kosovo and Albania, this is not merely a choice, but a necessity. A stronger Albania means an even stronger Kosovo. A more successful Kosovo also elevates Albania,” she said.

“History will not look favourably upon us if we fail to take advantage of this moment to foster the unity and harmony we need. The prosperity of Kosovo and Albania is a collective responsibility. Each one of us must contribute to advancing the vision of our countries and citizens within the European family of nations,” she emphasized.

Osmani emphasized that this joint parliamentary session should serve as a call to action, a reminder that our shared goal requires even greater ambition and tireless efforts.

“The deep bond between Kosovo and Albania is rooted in history, countless sacrifices, and a shared vision for the future. This bond is not merely symbolic; it is an unbreakable foundation upon which we must build greater cooperation and more frequent coordination,” she added.

According to her, “Albania and Kosovo are not just two independent states, but two inseparable parts of a great nation united by a glorious history and a bright future taking shape day by day.”

“Our two parliaments play a decisive role in strengthening bilateral ties and advancing the interests of our citizens,” she added.
