Prime Minister Edi Rama made the statement today, while recalling the historical speech of former U.S. President Clinton for the launch of the bombing campaign against Serbian forces.

On March 24, 1999, NATO aircrafts launched the first missiles against the strategic positions of the former Yugoslav army, as the two republics of the former Yugoslav federation, Serbia and Montenegro, were called.

President of the United States of America Bill Clinton gave the order to launch the bombing campaign.

The airstrikes against Serbian and Montenegrin forces continued until June 9, when the Kumanovo Agreement was reached, otherwise known as Milosevic’s capitulation, and on June 11, enemy forces began to leave Kosovo./m.m/j.p/p.s./
