TIRANA, May 31 /ATA/ Thethi has transformed into a highly popular destination, attracting a growing number of both local and international tourists.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared photos today of one of the most unique attractions in northern Albania—the Blue Eye in Theth.

The photo shows the Blue Eye brimming with local and international tourists who have chosen to visit during these last days of May.

Theth National Park remains a favourite destination for tourists all year round. Key attractions in Theth include natural monuments like the Blue Eye, the pools at Ndërlysë, Grunas Waterfall, Grunas Canyon, the Theth-Valbonë trail, Arapi Cave, and the Bjeshkët e Namuna trail, among others.

Theth is nestled in the heart of the Albanian Alps in northern Albania, surrounded by three towering mountains—Radohima, Sheniku, and Papluku—each rising over 2,500 meters above sea level.

The region’s rich natural assets, deeply connected to the cultural and historical traditions of its local communities, provide a strong foundation for the growth of sustainable tourism.
