TIRANA, June 20 /ATA/ – Albania is one of Europe’s last tourism paradises, according to the renowned travel blogger Christian Hütwohl, who recently visited Albania to record a series of videos he has entitled “Top ten highlights on Albania road trips” that have been viewed hundreds of thousands of times.

”We have been two months on the road across Albania. We have made around 2500 km in the country and we have recorded nine videos showing our trip,” Christian Hütwohl writes.

After providing a list of top ten best road trips across the country, the blogger notes that “Albania is home to rare natural beauties and has a lot to offer.”

”Ksamil is a very popular holiday destination in southern Albania with stunning coves and turquoise waters. We would have loved to have stayed longer there. This is Osum Canyon with its rusty, which we didn’t want to cross with our car. This impressive canyon belongs to Europe’s largest canyons.

The Patok Lagoon is worth a detour due to the typical stilt houses and the nice fish restaurants.

We have been four times at Mrizi i Zanave agro-tourism on our way north-south trip through Albania. We recommend to stay here for one of two days  to enjoy delicious traditional delicacies.

This is trip is not all about driving to various sites and tourism destinations,  it is also about just driving. Albania has lots of beautiful scenic roads to offer.

But Albanian roads also have their challenges on such narrow lanes, narrow tracks, or in the sand.

It is always a highlight to discover great spots. There are lots of such cool spots in Albania, which is one of the last paradises in Europe, where you can camp out in the wild.

It is also always a highlight to meet other likeminded travel buddies on the road and travel together for some time that brought us good memories, he concludes.
