The Inspectorate had the support of the Municipal Police forces. The apartment block was located in the Astir area, municipal unit no. 14. There has already begun the procedure for the demolition of the building.

The apartment block was being built by businessman Sino Llanaj in flagrant violation of construction regulations.

Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Tirana Blendi Sulaj, who closely followed and led the action, stated that in Tirana there is no room for illegal buildings and that the Inspectorate will intervene to stop if there is any.

“We will not stop until we clear up every unauthorized space and these spaces are turned into gardens for the children,” emphasized Sula. /p.s./

Like 280 buildings in all of Tirana, Unit 5 also successfully completed the reconstruction of the common areas for the buildings damaged by the earthquake of November 26, for a more beautiful city and a happier community! Strength, because there is no time for rest”, wrote Mayor Veliaj.

Meanwhile, the process of reconstruction of the block of flats has continued in other Units where the buildings were damaged by the November 26 earthquake.
