This important investment for the area is aimed at facilitating access to other city streets for its residents. Veliaj thanked the citizens for their understanding and cooperation in the implementation of the projects of the Municipality of Tirana.

“This mandate will be dedicated to neighborhoods like Astir, to make sure that we apply the same standard from the outskirts of Tirana to its center. The fact that there is entrepreneurship here, there is life and there are citizens from all over Albania, makes it one of the most important neighborhoods. Before we start with the school construction sites, we have adopted a regime of works where we do not open all the sites at once. This site of 5.5 hectares entails many access roads.”

In the end, the mayor said that the construction of two new schools, with high capacity, will kick off very soon, thus meeting the demand of the residents.
