During the joint press conference with the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, Rama said that ” the day when a Secretary of State visits our country is always a marked day in the history of Albania’s international relations.”

“By our reckoning you are the sixth, but this time your visit takes on special importance as we are cognizant of the turbulent time not only on the borders of Europe, but also in other areas of strategic importance for the balances of the world they live in and therefore your particular agenda. The fact that you made time and deemed it necessary to stop in Tirana is for us a very important sign of friendship, but also of your appreciation for this friendship, this partnership and definitely this region,” said Rama.
