According to the minister, “his verses are an everlasting source of light and wisdom.”

Gonxhja shared a video of the writer Dritëro Agolli reciting verses from one of his most famous poems, “When You Are Very Sad.”

“As we pay tribute to Dritëro Agolli on his birthday, when the weight of his memory feels like an unquenchable epic, we turn back to his verses as an everlasting source of light and wisdom. Today, on his birthday anniversary, we pay tribute to the immortal spirit of a mind that continues to teach us the art of living through words! Unforgettable!” wrote Gonxhja.

Dritëro Agolli passed away at the age of 86 in February 2017 in Tirana.
