Prime Minister Edi Rama wrote in the social media that the bridge will soon be functional for all the citizens of Berat and for the local residents of Bilҁa. And following the opening of this bridge, Bilҁa will be part of the newest neighborhood of Berat and will enjoy facilitated mobility.

Berat municipality project is being materialized thanks to the partnership with the Albanian Development Fund and grant funding from European Union funds through the European Development Bank.

This bridge makes Bilça a neighborhood of the city and, moreover, expands the tourist package of Berat where visitors will find ecotourism destinations in Bilça and the surrounding areas, just a few minutes away.

The bridge is 268 meters long and 12.4 meters wide. It includes sidewalks and bicycle lanes. /J.P/p.s./

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared today in the social media views from the works for building of this bridge.

“Bilça Bridge connects the villages of Bilça, Malinat and Zhitom i Vogël and soon it will be connected with the road of the village of Drobonik and with all the flow of vehicles that will circulate through Berat-Ballaban-Përmet-Gjirokastër-Greece road, thus becoming a great gateway for tourist flows towards the thousand-year-old Berat”, wrote Rama.

This bridge transforms Bilça into a neighborhood of the city and furthermore expands the tourist package of Berat, where visitors will find ecotourism destinations just a few minutes away.

The bridge will be 268 meters long and 12.4 meters wide, including sidewalks and bicycle lanes.

The construction of the bridge is the project of the municipality of Berat and is being realized thanks to the partnership with the Albanian Fund for Development and financing with a grant from the funds of the European Union through the European Development Bank. /k.s/a.f/p.s./
