According to the Finance and Economy Minister, the state budget review was designed to reflect the growing state budget revenue collections as a result of the satisfactorily performance in collection of the social insurance contributions, amounting to over 1.5 billion lek.

Ibrahimaj said that the new anti-crisis relief package totalled over 7.8 billion lek.

“We allocated an additional fund of around 7.8 billion lek to provide an immediate one-time payment to certain social categories to help them cope with the rising war-driven inflation at the end of the last year,” Finance Minister Ibrahimaj said in her remarks at parliament’s plenary session.

The big relief package provided support for over one million citizens in a bid to minimize the rising inflation impact on the Albanian households.
