TIRANA, Feb 2 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated on Thursday that those who are trying to pass the Mc Gonigal case off as a national disloyalty story of apocalyptic proportions are making a mockery of their voters.

In a televised interview, Rama said that, “I worry about the fact that the behavior of those who are trying to interpret this case as a national betrayal story of apocalyptic proportions, is the biggest ridicule and cynicism the people and those who vote for them are treated with.”

“But I understand, desperate people do desperate things to the point that you don’t even think about it,” Rama emphasized.

“It is unacceptable to come up with lies of proportions we have heard and fabricate acts of indictments and say that the legal action has started against the prime minister, etc. We will see how all this will play out on May 14,” Rama emphasized.
