TIRANA, April 20 /ATA/ The completion of the Bonarak bridge over the Erzen River in the municipal unit of Bërzhita in Tirana has significantly improved local mobility.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared in the social media a view of this bridge that serves the local community of this area.

“By linking the neighborhood to the rest of Lower Ibë village, the new bridge has brought safe connectivity and greater opportunities to the neighborhood, easing movement for residents of all ages”, emphasized Rama.

The former pedestrian footbridge has been replaced by a modern structure featuring traffic lanes, sidewalks, lighting, and 100 meters of upgraded connecting roads.

The new bridge has enhanced local connectivity, providing safer, faster transit for vehicles and pedestrians, while upgrading infrastructure with improved lighting and night-time navigation. /k.s/j.p/p.s./

TIRANA, August 20/ATA/ Minister of Defense Pirro Vengu announced that the Armed Forces Museum Complex in Bërzhita, Tirana, will be expanded with additional space incorporating modern design elements that will connect history with the community and the past with the future.

“This modern project will transform and renovate the complex into an architectural narrative, bringing closer to the citizen not only a museum, but also a common space for memory, identity and coexistence,” the minister emphasized.

Vengu shared in the social media images of the Armed Forces Museum Complex in Bërzhita, while noting that the project will respect the existing buildings and the surrounding nature.

The minister also underlined that the project foresees the addition of buildings and functional spaces that will be used for the daily activities of the Armed Forces and the defense industry.
