TIRANA, March  7  /ATA/ On October 16, Tirana will host the next summit of the Berlin Process. The news was given by German Chancellor Scholz at the joint press conference in Berlin alongside Prime Minister Rama.

The Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Olaf Scholz, stated that the Western Balkans and its integration into the European Union are very important.

“On many occasions I have made it clear that this is one of the great tasks that Europe must fulfill now. The Western Balkans is part of Europe and part of the European family. Therefore, I am glad that you agreed in November to invite the next Summit of the Berlin Process to Albania. Arrangements for it have now progressed and on October 16 the summit will take place. In this way, the Summit of the Berlin Process for the first time in almost 10-year history of the process will be held in the capital of a Western Balkan country,” said Scholz.
