In response to Minister of State for Parliament Erjon Ismaili, Berisha accused the government of acting irresponsibly over the case and called for Prime Minister Edi Rama’s immediate resignation.

“Today, when national security has completely collapsed and sensitive information entrusted to Albania as a NATO member has repeatedly fallen into the hands of Albania’s and NATO’s enemies, government representatives come here and speak with complete irresponsibility,” Berisha said.

“There is only one course of action: the immediate resignation of the ‘godfather’, who built this pyramid of a narco-state,” he added.

Berisha accused the government of disregarding what he described as a major national security scandal, calling it “a day of shame” and demanding full transparency.

Berisha said the alleged transfer of NATO classified information to hostile individuals could have serious consequences for Albania and damage its reputation as a NATO member.
