During his speech at the presentation of the new leadership of the Brain Gain department and the program for 2026, Berisha called for ongoing mobilization of both the opposition and the citizens. He emphasized that unseating Edi Rama and forming a caretaker government are essential for holding free and fair elections.
“We are living through a time like no other. This moment requires, starting with me and each one of you, that we adapt to a variety of activities. We must be ready to undertake multiple actions simultaneously. Only then can we fulfill our historic mission of overthrowing Edi Rama’s autocratic regime,” Berisha said.
In his view, the opposition is in its ultimate battle.

“It’s of vital importance because if we fail to recognize the reality that we’re operating under an autocracy and don’t reposition ourselves accordingly, but instead believe we’re in a normal pluralistic system, we won’t be able to achieve our goal,” Berisha said.
“We must dedicate ourselves to the opposition’s mission of ousting Edi Rama from power and establishing a caretaker government, which is the fundamental condition for ensuring free elections for the Albanian people. We are not a party of violence, because we believe that peace is an incredibly powerful force,” said Berisha.

Berisha also accused the government of corruption, embezzling public funds, and interfering with the justice system. /j.p/sm/
