The Mayor of Kurbin, Majlinda Cara, announced that this project, part of the “Social Fund and Partnership with Local Government Units,” will be funded by the EU through the EU4Socialcare program and implemented by UNICEF and World Vision Albania.

The “EU for Social Care” program is helping 14 municipalities support children and families from vulnerable groups by improving social care services.

Funded by the EU, this three-year program, implemented by UNICEF and World Vision Albania, contributes to a more inclusive Albanian society, in line with the principles of the European Pillar of Social Rights.

In a ceremony held on Thursday in Tirana, attended by Minister of Health and Social Protection Albana Koçiu and EU Ambassador to Albania Silvio Gonzato, MoUs were signed between the State Social Service and the mayors of 11 municipalities for the implementation of these projects.
