Since the launch of applications, 3200 farmers have registered to become part of this scheme.

The Albania’s Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Milva Ekonomi announced on Monday that the new tax-free oil subsidy scheme has aroused considerable interest of farmers.

“So far, 3,200 farmers have been registered in the system. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has supported the beneficiary farmers, providing information on how to apply and the documentation needed, as well assisting them in the offices of AREB and Agropika to apply online,” Ekonomi said.

Online applications will remain open until February 25th. The tax-free oil program under support scheme for agriculture for 2021 through state budget is worth 10 million dollars, while over 80 thousand beneficiary farmers are due to benefit. //a.i/
