TIRANA, May  4  /ATA/ The Democratic Party candidate for the municipality of Tirana, Roland Bejko, held a meeting with the residents of Astir on Thursday.

In this meeting, Bejko focused on the points of his program, such as the construction of schools, kindergartens and nurseries in this area which, according to him, has been neglected by the municipality.

“In the area of Astir which has a population of 70,000 inhabitants, there is no school for children,” he said, adding that, “according to our program in every neighborhood there will be a school 15 minutes away from the citizen’s residence. There will be no more classes with 40 students and no more schools working on a two shift system.”
