“Allow me, on Ukraine’s Independence Day, to convey, on behalf of the Albanian people and in my own name, my warmest and most sincere greetings to you and the friendly Ukrainian people.”

On this day, which marks a significant moment in Ukraine’s history and symbolizes the spirit of resilience, resistance, and determination of its people, allow me to express my appreciation for the friendly relations between our two countries and to acknowledge the bond between our peoples, strengthened also by the long-standing Albanian diaspora in Ukraine.

Our two countries share common Euro-Atlantic values and a clear strategic objective: membership in the European Union. In this context, I would like to reaffirm Albania’s full support for Ukraine’s European integration.
I take this opportunity to reaffirm Albania’s clear and unwavering stance in support of Ukraine’s territorial integrity, sovereignty, and independence, and to assure you that Albania will continue its steadfast and comprehensive support for your country.
