The Agency for Agricultural and Rural Development said that the interest of farmers to benefit from the National Scheme is very high and this is thanks to the financial support for this sector, which has been available to them and especially to beekeepers every year.

From 2009 until 2022, 10,238 beekeepers have benefited from the National Scheme, for a number of 1,135,662 hives with a funding value of 1.06 billion ALL.

This financing aims to increase bee breeding and production, while thanks to the support from the IPARD II program in the beekeeping sector, investment has been made in processing lines, packaging and warehouses for product storage.

Beekeeping is one of the sectors that has always been seen as a priority, based on its importance and contribution to the development of the economy.

The scheme in support of farmers serves to reduce production costs by benefiting from the scheme of free oil, seeds, seedlings and other investments according to the sector.
