On World Bee Day at a meeting organized in Tirana by the Slovenian Embassy with entrepreneurs in this sector and journalists, Krifca stressed that “government support for this sector will continue, they will even introduce innovations for the development of beekeeping based on the best European models. ”

In our country there are about 8200 families that deal with beekeeping, among them are professionals who have a business, but also passionate beekeepers.

The capital value of the entire sector is estimated at around 72 million euros, while subsidies from the government and the IPARD program in support of Beekeepers are increasing from year to year.
