Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Frida Krifca, shared the example of Ylli who keeps honey bees in Kuçova.

During this period, the bees overwinter but the beekeeper never stops working. Ylli says that, “in winter, we prepare the hives for the next season.”

He clearly shows the passion for his craft which he inherited from his father and wants to get its going in the family.

“I inherited beekeeping from my father Ismal and I will pass this craft on to my son in order to have a thriving family business,” he said.

Ylli started off with 15 hives, and today he has 200 hives. He produces mainly honey and royal jelly and is completely devoted to this craft. /j.p/sm/
