Shkodra Mayor Benet Beci shared images of the site at the heart of Theth, which was rapidly cleared and replanted with grass to restore its original natural appearance.

Meanwhile, Beci announced that the work continues apace, with support from the military and the Municipality of Shkodra, to clean up other surrounding areas.

In Theth, engineering forces are assisting in the ongoing removal of construction debris resulting from the enforcement of decisions against 40 entities that had erected over 100 illegal structures—ranging from walled buildings to metal and wooden constructions—in violation of the law on protected areas.
