Writing in the social media, Rama stressed that, “I would go to any interpellation requested by Gazment Bardhi, but only after SPAK gives the conclusion of the investigations into the drug trafficker whom Bardhi discovered in my family and only if Olsi Rama does not happen to be as this gentleman, who as a matter of fact is not a gentleman at all, claims”.

“I have been waiting for months and months for the truth from SPAK, where Gazment Bardhi goes often to fight corruption and criminals in my government and I will not get tired of waiting, before I do one of the two things. Either I withdraw from politics forever or I appear in Gazment’s interpellations; either my brother will be tried or Gazment Bardhi will be tried”, said Rama.

Speaking of Francesco Bechetti, Rama said that, “So far, that criminal sentenced to 17 years by the court for all the wrongdoings, has not yet received a single penny from the Albanian state and there is no state document to prove the contrary.”/k.s/j.p/p.s./

In a post on “Twitter”, Rama emphasized that this issue is being used on the eve of the campaign for the local elections that will be held on May 14.

“Before every campaign, it turns out that Becchetti, sentenced to 16 years in prison for fraud, took 100 million Euros from Albania. Then, his friends here lose the elections and when the next campaign comes it turns out that he didn’t get the money then, but he got them now! Again, this will happen to the friends of the fraudsters! Until the next campaign!” said Rama.

The DP argued that the actions or inactions of the state institutions and public officials resulted in “Becchetti and others against Albania” arbitration decision.

The Constitutional Court argued that it was not achieved the required number of votes for decision-making.

General Secretary of the Democratic Party Gazment Bardhi reacted today to the decision of the Constitutional Court to reject the request of the Democratic Party.

Bardhi pointed to the loss of more than 110 million Euros of the Albanian state caused by Rama government.

“Ilir Meta’s joy over the unjust decision by the arbitration court in favour of an individual wanted by the Albanian justice is both disgusting and premature,” PM Rama said in a statement in a reference to Albania’s lawsuit against the Italian businessman Francesco Becchetti.

Rama said “Albania has won three out of four international trials against this conman and the battle goes on.”

“The charlatan-like joy expressed by the distressed President and the political party that is infecting Albanians every day in its efforts to seize power will last only for a while and it is them who will lose, and not Albani that will win over the Unscrupulous Conman just like it is wining over the Invisible Enemy,” Rama said.
