Minister of Tourism and Environment, Mirela Kumbaro, called on all private entities running accommodation facilities along the coast to apply via E-Albania by December 20th.

“December 20th will be the final deadline for applications on E-Albania for all private entities with accommodation structures along the coast, certified by the MoTE, that wish to manage beach stations during the summer season of 2025,” Kumbaro wrote in a social media post.

Applications must be submitted in accordance with the new legal criteria, which specify that beaches can only be temporarily managed by hotels located on the first line or in close proximity.

All interested entities can submit their applications on the e-Albania portal by requesting the service “Application for beach station management.”

The beach maps were approved at the beginning of November during the meeting of the Tourism Season Management Committee, while under the new regulations around 675 beach plots are freed up.
