Prime Minister Edi Rama published on Thursday on his social media account photos of tourists relaxing on the Rana e Hedhun beach today. “Rana e Hedhun today”, writes Rama.

Rana e Hedhun is a protected beach that continues to arouse the curiosity of visitors and vacationers as it looks as if the sand has started its ascent up the mountain.

It is located 2.5 km from the city of Shengjin in the municipality of Lezha and is considered a rare geomonument.
The Natural Monument, Rana e Hedhun is the place where the sand dunes merge with the sea. A unique destination, 600 m long and 100 m wide, positioned at the foot of Renci Mountain. Rana e Hedhun is also famed for its geomorphological, didactic and touristic scientific values.

This beach affords a view that you don’t find anywhere along the Adriatic coast. There, the gray sand meets the blue sea, while there are also rocks that descend from the mountain and flow into the sea.
