Prime Minister Edi Rama shared images Sunday on social media from the “Rana e Hedhun,” showing numerous visitors of all age groups enjoying the clear sea waters, while young people engage in sports activities on the sand and more.

“Rana e Hedhun” is a protected beach located 2.5 km from the town of Shëngjin, in the municipality of Lezhë, and is considered a rare geomonument.

This Natural Monument is where sand dunes blend seamlessly with the sea—a truly unique destination, stretching 600 meters in length and 100 meters in width, nestled at the foot of Mount Renci. Rana e Hedhun is also recognized for its scientific, geomorphological, educational, and touristic value.

This beach offers a landscape unlike any other along the Adriatic coast. Here, the gray sand meets the deep blue sea in a striking contrast, while rocky formations descend from the mountain and spill into the water, creating a dramatic and unforgettable scene.
