TIRANA, June 23/ATA/ Vlora, one of the cities with the most beautiful beaches in our country, attracts thousands of local and foreign tourists every year.

Recently, there has been an increase in the number of holidaymakers who frequent Vlora because there has been an increase in the public beaches and better management of the coastal area.

Since June 15, there has also been launched the “Clean Beaches” operation, through which the National Coastal Agency supports 8 coastal municipalities in cleaning beaches, including Vlora.

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared today a view of the public beach in Vlora, which is being frequented by many citizens during these summer days.

At the public beach stations set up in Vlora, this year there will also be umbrellas dedicated to tourists and local residents, offered free of charge by the municipality.

There are also public beach stations with free umbrellas in Radhima, Orikum, and on the beach of Zvërnec.

This year, it is anticipated that there will be 973 public beach stations in Vlora region, while according to the regulation set by the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, it has been decided that 300 meters out of every 1 km of coastline will be public beaches. /j.p/p.s./
