“Working coffee in Fushë-Kruja with the structures of the Democratic Party, to continue our door-to-door tour with the people. Our attention, our energy, our commitment is only to the citizens, not to the political soap opera, which solves the problems of a handful of politicians,” Basha wrote on social media.

In Fushë-Kruja, the chairman of DP, Lulzim Basha, met and talked with many citizens and small entrepreneurs who mentioned their problems and pressing needs.

“They demand that politics delivers for them, government facilitates their work and acts in support of the majority of citizens, not the usual customers and monopolists who have strangled the economy,” Basha said on social media.

According to Basha, this failed political approach is also reflected in the government’s draft budget, which continues to give precedence to the interests of a handful of people rather than the citizens who are faced every day with soaring prices, rising taxes, decline in purchasing power and the high unemployment rate.

For the DP chairman, the fight against monopolies and corruption is the only way to give the economy breathing space.
