In a post on social media, Basha says that “aware of the values and standards that bind us, we need to build the best alternative of the Democratic Party for Albanians.”

Basha underlines that the fight against corruption is one of our priorities today.

“One such case is the law on strategic investors, which has been used to reward the Prime Minister’s friends with our public assets,” the head of the Democratic Party emphasized.

He has stated that they will demand an in-depth parliamentary investigation of the strategic investors, those who benefit and share the wealth of this country with the corrupt power holders, while the Albanians remain among the poorest and most underpaid peoples.

“No one will be above the law,” Basha said.
