In a press conference at the DP headquarters, Basha said that, “we are faced with an attempt which is as absurd as it is sneaky to build parallel structures.”

“With the same zeal as parallel structures are built and financed in the north of Kosovo. But it is incomprehensible when this happens in a country that has clear obligations to act, obligations that it is defying, obligations towards its citizens, obligations towards its allies, obligations towards the present and future of the country, obligations towards national security,” Basha said.

“The first parallel structure that has been forewarned since January is a commission to oversee SPAK. This idea has re-surfaced again yesterday evening and continues to stubbornly circulate as a senseless anti-constitutional attempt to subdue the only institution, which seems to be partially outside the control of the government”, said Basha.
