“Brussels’ decision to suspend grants from the IPARD program exposed the greed of this government, which also embezzlement with EU funds, leaving the honest farmers of this country at the mercy of fate, in order to favor clientele,” Basha said.

“For this scandal that disgraced Albania in the eyes of its European partners, hampering our journey towards the EU, the Democratic Party will request the establishment of a Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry to bring to light the embezzlement of funds for agriculture and to guarantee the transparency that citizens deserve,” Basha said.
