At a media briefing, Basha said that for 8 years on end Edi Rama has accused me of being the puppet of Sali Berisha. Yesterday, Sali Berisha has alleged that I am hostage to Edi Rama. The first is a lie, the second is unlikely to happen. Both of them are two sides of the same coin.

Basha went on saying that as far as Berisha’s claims for referendum are concerned, neither referendum nor Assembly can review the decisions of the US govt.

“The Democratic Party is moving ahead. The Democratic Party will fight the battle for change that will become a reality when this regime is overthrown and democracy is restored. “This is the mission of the Democratic Party, this is the mission of every democrat, this is my mission and I will stick to this commitment until we achieve these national goals,” said Basha.

“As for the claims for referendums and assemblies, there will be no Democratic Party assembly to review the decisions of the US government.
