TIRANA, April 23 /ATA/ The Chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, and MP Jorida Tabaku held a meeting at the Italian Senate with Vice President Licia Ronzulli, as part of their official visit to Italy.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the political situation in Albania, the Albania-Italy relations, and strengthening cooperation between the Democratic Party and Forza Italia.

 

Bardhi expressed gratitude for Italy’s continued support for Albania and its path towards European Union integration.

 

“The Democratic Party believes that the integration process belongs to the Albanian citizens and calls for real, measurable, and inclusive reforms,” Bardhi emphasized in a social media post.

 

Bardhi highlighted that, “Albania does not need laws on paper, but real reforms that make a difference in the lives of its citizens.”

“The rule of law, the fight against corruption, and equality before the law are European values that Albania must achieve,” he added.
