TIRANA, Sept  13 /ATA/- Deputy Prime Minister, also Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, said yesterday evening in a televised interview that she has a very good relationship with the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.

Balluku said that she will also personally support Veliaj in Tirana, for the third term at the helm of the Municipality.

“Erion is godfather to my daughter. As he considers me a sister, I also consider him a brother. We knew each other before we got involved into politics. Erion has excelled in the management of the Municipality of Tirana and has our support and of the Socialist Party, for the next term in office as well. All the rest is political saga. We even meet on weekend morning. We are good friends and all this media-fabricated soap operas serve only for news, but are baseless. I will do my job to help Erion in Tirana, especially in the Kombinat constituency where I contributed,” said Balluku.
