The Minister said that “Albania numbers a total of 3700 buses in public transport sector and 10 thousand employees, a mainstay in terms of services and employment.”

“We want to raise awareness among the citizens to use more public transport not only for the price, but also for the acute shortage the fuel market is likely to face in the future. Therefore, urban transport should increase the quality, from the vehicles they use to punctuality, ” she said.
“Another issue is related to unlicensed operation against which the government has taken measures,” the Minister said.
