After the meeting with the Secretary of US Department of Energy, Jennifer Granholm, Balluku pointed out that the reforms of Albania in the energy sector drew a lot of praise.

“I am honoured to hold a lengthy and constructive meeting with the US Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm, whith whom we discussed at length Albania’s progress towards reform in the energy sector, as well as in justice or in improving the business climate,” Balluku says.

Balluku adds that we discussed the opportunities of developing new cooperation projects between the parties.

“We reconfirmed the mutual commitment to close and concerted cooperation, as well as explored opportunities for new joint projects in the avant-garde energy sectors,” she said. /j.p/sm/
