They are the Spanish company “Tipsa,” the French company “Altea GEO Studio,” “Royal Haskoning DHV” based in the Netherlands, the consortium “Technital S.p.A” based in Italy; “SEED Consulting” and “Atelier 4” based in Albania, as well as the merger of 4 companies “Artelia”, “Yuksel Proje”, “F&M Ingeria” and “Ice.”

Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, stated that in the first phase 14 international companies expressed interest, while 5 of them were selected.

“This is not about the port of a small country, it will be a port of regional importance, which aims to change the concept of maritime trade, not only for Albania, but for the whole region. It will boost economic development not only in Albania, but also in the Balkans, ” the minister said.

The Minister also underlined the fact that large international companies have chosen to work with Albanian companies. “We hope that these companies have the opportunity to share not only their expertise but also what we feel, the pride in the current development of the country and goals for Albania 2030, ” she said.
