In his remarks, Berisha accused the majority of taking legislative initiatives to protect government representatives.

He stated, “All Albanians and the international community expect this Parliament to take steps towards the removal of immunity.”

“You have taken on an impossible mission. What you are doing now has never been done before. You are willing to change laws for the sake of protecting a thief who has been branded by all Albanians as the greatest thief in the history of the nation, and one of the greatest in the history of Europe,” Berisha added.
Berisha highlighted that members of the majority express differing views in their interactions with foreign representatives compared to the statements they make in the Parliament, noting that, in his opinion, they do not publicly defend Balluku during international meetings.
