TIRANA, Oct  25 /ATA/ The Albanian Telegraphic Agency (ATA) and the Agency for Dialogue and Co-Governance (ADC) signed a memorandum of understanding on Tuesday.

The memorandum of understanding was signed by ATA Director General, Valbona Zhupa, and the Agency for Dialogue and Co-Governance Director General, Eridana Çano. It is intended to promote on a mutual basis  the quality achievements, through the dissemination of information and other data on the official websites of the relevant parties.

The memorandum of understanding  has been signed for a period of 3 years and as part of it the two agencies agree to provide services free of charge with regard to the resources they have in their network of archives and libraries, as well as the sections for public communication.

Also, ATA and ADB will prepare publications of mutual interest in the field of written and image documentation and will exchange their publications free of charge.

ATA and ADC commit themselves to implementing joint projects in the field of information.

Promoting cooperation with third parties as part of truthful knowledge and information, valuing these two components as complementing and strengthening each other is another point of this agreement.

Under the agreement, ATA and ADC help each other in promoting the values ​​of each institution and contribute to increasing the capacities for the efficient implementation of obligations associated with the scope of ​​their responsibility./m.m/j.p/sm/
