In a press release, the National Association of Judges of the Republic of Albania states that it has followed with great attention and interest the entire process of drafting the analytical document of the new court map prepared by the High Judicial Council, in consultation and cooperation with other actors in the process.

“Reform in the justice system, supported from the very beginning by the Association with ideas and proposing initiatives, is intended to build an efficient judiciary, in terms of time, quality and economy. To achieve this requires the design of a judicial structure to maximize this goal as well as a well-thought-out distribution of human resources in this regard. Although the vetting process left large gaps in the judiciary, this did not diminish it at all, on the contrary, it increased the determination of the subjects engaged in the process of drafting the new judicial map, which will serve not only to mitigate the consequences of this process, but also to give the country a high quality judicial service in the future, ” same sources say.

The National Association of Judges of the Republic of Albania highly appreciates the work of almost three years led so far by the High Judicial Council regarding the analysis and design of the new court map.

The Association also states that the new map will meet the needs of citizens for the administration of quality justice and at an equal time for all. The specialization of judges and handling similar cases at similar speed, in all courts of the Republic, is a goal and a challenge that will be fulfilled without the slightest doubt by the judicial reorganization provided in this document.
