The operation was conducted by the Section for Investigation of Money Laundering and Crime-Deriving Assets in Tirana Police Directorate, in cooperation with the Prosecution at the First Instance Court of Tirana.

Through a notification, the Police announce that, “under the direction of the Prosecution at the First- Instance Court of Tirana, in the framework of operation dubbed“ Summer 2022 ″police executed the decision of Tirana’s First Instance Court placing preventive seizure on movable and immovable properties in the name of the citizen R. P., 39 years old, resident in Tirana. ”

This citizen arrested in 2018 by UK police authorities is suspected of being involved in “production and sale of narcotics,” while in 2007 was sentenced to 7 years by justice system in our country for the same offense, police sources say.

Police announce that pursuant to the court decision, around EUR 2 mln of immovable assets were seized.
