The encyclopedia by Irini Asqeri was promoted in the premises of the Academy of Sciences of Albania. It is a voluminous work of the experienced archivist and researcher Asqeri, who took almost 10 years to research and systematize documents and archival data in several archives of the country, but mainly in the Central State Film Archive, where Irini also worked as an archivist.

Published by the “Jozef” publishing house, this encyclopedia carries accurate data on film productions from the period 1904-2022. Irini has also included a long chapter on the beginnings of cinematography in Albania, bringing us the history of Albania first seen through the lens of the camera. /a.f/p.s./
