Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj, painter Ormira Lulani, president of VIZart Cultural Organization, Director of the National History Museum, dr. Dorian Koçi, founder and president of  IwS Globe Art NetWork, Atanur Dogan, attended the opening ceremony. In their remarks they highlighted the values ​​and importance it carries in unification of borders, cultures, ages and genders.

Mayor Veliaj stressed that a city like Tirana should support not only people in need, but also provide art for its citizens.

Tirana Mayor said that VIZart Tirana International Watercolor Festival offers a special opportunity for the capital and young people to showcase their values and skills alongside experienced painters.

Veliaj said that an array of many cultural events show the face of modern Albania.
